Vibra-Tite 486 is a Non-Curing Thread Sealant with PTFE which can be used to seal against many liquids and gases both under pressure and under vacuum. It is an ideal sealant for water pipes. It can be used on metal and most plastics. The operating temperature range for this material in most applications is about -50°C to 150°C.
Used D'Gel on my job. Still use it at home. Stubborn spot on clothing, or any cleanup up need on hands, garage project. Handy in a spray bottles. Pleasant smell.
I wanted to be able use my wireless headset on my backup portable radio. This is exactly what I needed as an interface for my radio/headset. I hope I never need to use it, but it is worth a peace of mind knowing I am covered!
Haven't opened it yet, still waiting for the current leak to finish off the last left in the wheelchair lift. Unless the jug is filled with water, we happy-we good.
