So‑Sure® TT‑P‑1757 primer is a single-component, zinc chromate alkyd-based coating designed to protect treated metal surfaces from corrosion. It dries quickly, maintains flexibility, and promotes excellent adhesion for topcoats. This VOC-compliant formula contains no CFCs or ozone-depleting compounds and meets the requirements of MIL‑SPEC TT‑P‑1757B, Type I and Type II, Class C.
Meets TT‑P‑1757B Type I & II, Class C zinc chromate primer specification
Fast-drying formula—touch dry in 5 to 10 minutes, hard dry in ~15 minutes
Excellent corrosion resistance and topcoat adhesion on treated metal
Can be applied over surfaces treated per MIL‑C‑8514 or DOD‑P‑15328
Sealable with lacquer or enamel topcoats—or used without topcoat

Not as good as what was available before 2024
This stuff has way less solids than previously available Zinc Chromate marine/aviation paint. It is therefore more runny and may not last as long. This brand has the color right, which is important when touching up the original Zinc Chromate on vintage aircraft.

Fun toy for our 15 month old grandson. His favorite toy. Our original train was loved by our children 25 years ago but lost it's pullback speed. Unfortunately it cost us way too much for shipping ( so got 2) but he's worth it
The item is worth a 5 star review but the fact it took 3 weeks to receive the item knocked the review down to 3 stars. Won’t order from Pilotshq.com again. I’ve ordered other items in the past and it’s always the same, 3-4 weeks for delivery.
