GENERAL INFORMATION
Royco 1MS is a blend of lubrication grade micro fine powdered molybdenum disulfide that conforms to Mil-M-7866, and technical grade petrolatum conforming to VV-P-236. This compound is non-abrasive, highly shear stable, and has a relatively low volatility compared to some thread compounds.
APPLICATIONS
ROYCO 1MS is particularly suitable for use on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F. At higher temperatures, compound conforming to Mil-T-5544 (ROYCO 44) should be used in lieu of ROYCO 1MS. Since this material is an electrical conductor, it is especially suited for anti-seize applications where the thread compound will not impede the flow an electrical current.
COMPATABILITY
ROYCO 1MS is an electrically conductive thread compound and should be used with discretion in or near electrical equipment. It is not a sealing compound and should not be used in oxygen systems.
APPROVALS
ROYCO 1MS meets all requirements and is qualified to the current revision level of US MIL-SPEC: MIL-PRF-83483.
When I ordered this backpack, it was on backorder. I checked a couple of times on its progress, the replies were prompt and correct. The backpack itself is beautiful. The fabric, the stitching and zipper are strong and should last for years. It is a great size- practical for work stuff daily, and large enough to pack for a weekend away. This cap is solid, adjustable, comfortable and very well put together. The fit is comfortable, the stitching is strong, the look is great. I'd buy anything from Pilots HQ!
