This ANR headset offers a conventional design and uses the Pilot Direct Noise Cancelling System to target noise cancellation towards lower frequencies, setting it apart from other ANR headsets currently available. The ANR technology includes an Embedded Voice Intelligibility (EVI) circuit, which boosts speech frequencies by 2-4 dB for all incoming radio/intercom audio. The integration of noise cancellation and speech enhancement results in exceptional intelligibility and performance for this headset.
The Headset’s comfort features include silcone gel ear seals and a pillow-top headpad. The full Flex Microphone boom can be adjusted to stay in any desired microphone position. Dual volume controls allow independent volume levels for each ear. A soft carrying case is included.

Featuring our latest proprietary technology, the PA-1761M is equipped with Auto On/Auto Shut-off circuitry. When connected to an aircraft with the radio on or an active intercom, the ANR automatically activates. Additionally, when unplugged from the battery box or manually turned off, the headset will shut off. The radio or avionics master switch can also trigger the automatic shutdown of the headset.

The unit includes 19 ohm speakers and either a M-101/AIC or M-87/AIC (5 ohm) dynamic microphone. It is suitable for use with C-130, C130J, C-141, KC-135, C-5B aircraft, and the AIC-18 interphone commonly found on military aircraft.
