Aircraft anti-seize is commonly applied to threaded fasteners, spark plugs, and metal-to-metal contact points to ensure reliable assembly and easier disassembly during maintenance.

Anti-seize compounds are engineered blends of lubricants and solid particles designed to act as a protective barrier between metal surfaces. In aviation applications, these compounds help prevent thread damage under high heat, pressure, and vibration conditions while maintaining consistent torque during installation. They are widely used across aircraft engines, exhaust systems, and structural fasteners where long-term reliability is critical. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

Shop Aviation Anti-Seize by Application and Material Compatibility

Aircraft anti-seize compounds are typically selected based on operating temperature, material compatibility, and application type. Each drop of our Aircraft Grade solution has thousands of hardened aluminum cubes in a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze carrying agent. These building blocks provide a temporary bridge between the tool and stressed fastener heads for easy screw removal and bolt removal. It has no silicones to hinder sealing/painting operations on metal surfaces. So, no problem with worn screw removal and bolt removal operations while performing aircraft maintenance. Use EZ Grip Friction Drops. This product has met ASTM Tests for aircraft us as listed on our home page.
Stripped Screws
Apply a drop to the screw head or driver's head and wiggle the tool against the screw head while applying moderate pressure to allow the liquid carrier to move the blocks into a bridging position between the tool and any differential surfaces of the damaged screw head. Then apply forward and slightly cocked hard pressure against the screw head and turn the screw out. There is no need to clean EZ Grip from the tool or fastener after use as it will not cause corrosion and does not contain petroleum or silicone.
Rounded Bolts/Nuts
Apply a few drops to the inside of a box end wrench or socket and place over the bolt and wiggle the tool into place allowing the blocks to form a bridge between the wrench/socket and bolt or nut corners. Cock the wrench or socket against the bolt/screw while applying pressure and turn. There is no need to clean EZ Grip from the tool or fastener after use as it will not cause corrosion and does not contain petroleum or silicone
Worn gripping and turning tools
Apply to the head or jaws of the driver, wrench, or pliers to increase gripping power. There is no need to clean EZ Grip from the tool or fastener after use as it will not cause corrosion and does not contain petroleum or silicone.
Extending tool life: Keep a residue of EZ Grip Friction Drops on driver's head, wrench/socket shoulders, and plier jaws to keep these surfaces from coming in contact with the fastener head. Let the blocks take the pressure and not the steel surface of your tool. EZ Grip will not cause corrosion and does not contain petroleum or silicone.
