Detailed Product Description:
The Goodrich Prop De-Icer Edge Sealer Kit, part number 77-798 (also known as 82-076), is a critical component for aircraft operators using Goodrich de-icer systems. The kit is engineered to enhance the adhesion of de-icer boots to the propeller blades, ensuring long-lasting protection against environmental factors such as ice, water, and debris. By maintaining a tight seal along the edges of the propeller, it helps reduce the likelihood of de-icer failure and blade corrosion, ultimately improving flight safety and performance. Its straightforward application process makes routine maintenance efficient, keeping your aircraft’s de-icing system in peak condition for longer.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
