Featuring identical electronic components as the PA-1779T, the PA-1771T incorporates an external battery pack (9V). To enhance comfort, this headset includes a genuine sheepskin headpad and our exclusive silicone gel ear seals (weighing 30% less than traditional gel ear seals). This model weighs 13.4 oz., making it one of the lightest ANR headsets available. It also comes with a padded protective case.

The PA-1771T features our innovative Auto On/Auto Shut-off technology, allowing for automatic activation when plugged into an active aircraft radio or intercom. It will turn off automatically when unplugged from the battery box or manually switched off via the toggle switch. Additionally, the headset will automatically shut off when the radio or avionics master switch is turned off.

This particular headset is equipped with a cell/satellite phone feature and a "true stereo" input jack, allowing users to play music from various devices such as CD players, IPODs®, MP3s®, and external radios. The cell phone system is compatible with both newer "Smartphones" that use a 3.5mm (4 conductor) input and older phones with a 2.5mm input.
