Works significantly better than the old design. Phone calls and music are clearer, batteries are not necessary as long as the aircraft has a usb port, and the rolling volume controls all make the Blulink 2 a big step up from the 1. Been using it in an old beat up crop dusting helicopter with an ancient radio and audio panel. Works like a champ
