The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of primarily African American military pilots (fighter and bomber) and airmen who fought in World War II. They formed the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the Unites States Army Air Forces. They were most commonly associated with the North American P-51 Mustang . The pilots of the 332nd Fighter Group painted the tails of their planes red, hence the nickname “Red Tails”. They were active between the years 1941 to 1945.
I ordered the Red Tuskegee hat for my husbands birthday. I ordered it three days ahead and a week later, I hadn’t received shipping information. I reached out to the company and was told that the hat was on back order. Had I not contacted them, I would have never known. After reaching out, I was told that I would be contacted the next day with a timeframe. No one ever contacted me. Instead, a few weeks later, I was notified that the hat had been shipped; and I received it two weeks later. Once received, it was awesome. My husband loved it! But it took almost a month to get it and I had no idea it was going to take that long. So better communication would be great.
