Pilots HQ & Michigan COVID-19 Status

Posted by Carl Helka on

Effective at 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, and for at least the next three weeks, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued a state wide stay-at-home order.

Michigan's Executive Order 2020-21 prohibits all businesses and operations from requiring workers to leave their homes, unless those workers are necessary to sustain or protect life or to conduct minimum basic operations.

Considering that Pilots HQ, is providing customers with products that are vital for heath and personal care such as sanitizers, disinfectants, personal protective gear, and canned oxygen. We are authorized to continue minimum operations under section 8(m) of the 2020-21 Executive Order.  We will do our best to ensure the continuation of vital supply chains for as long as possible while ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers.

However, all non-essential staff such as customer service, accounting, web services, sales and marketing have been designated to work from their homes.  This does mean that we will have limited phone coverage as the phone system must route inquires to individual cell phones.  If you require assistance please be sure to either email us at sales@pilotshq.com, or leave a message in our phone system.  We will be sure to address your inquiries as fast as possible.

Although we will be having the minimum staff available at the warehouse fulfilling orders, we are expecting some delays and maybe even service interruptions from carrier services.  Please stay tuned to you local government broadcasts as well as the carrier news feeds to see if your shipment maybe effected by any service interruptions.

As always, we will do our very best to serve our customers during this difficult time.
